Quick Guide: New login with OTP
To strengthen your account security and protect your information, we have implemented a new layer of protection in the login process: OTP (One-Time Password) authentication.
This guide explains what an OTP is and how the new process works to securely access your Cincel account.
What is OTP authentication?
OTP (One-Time Password) authentication is a security method that requires a second verification to confirm your identity.
Every time you log in, in addition to your password, the system will ask for a unique code that will be automatically sent to your registered email. This ensures that only you, by having access to your inbox, can complete the login, even if someone else knows your password.
Steps to Log In with OTP
The process is quick and simple. Follow these steps to access your account:
- Enter your credentials: Go to the Cincel login page and enter your email, as you usually do.
- Wait for the code: The system will indicate that a verification code has been sent to your email.
- Check your email: Open the inbox of the email associated with your Cincel account. You will receive an email with a one-time numerical code.
- Enter the code: Enter or paste this code into the corresponding field on the Cincel login page.
- Access your account: Click “Verify” to complete the process and access your account.
❗️Important:
- Didn't receive the email? If you can't find the email in your main inbox, check your “Spam” or “Junk Mail” folder. Sometimes, automated emails can be filtered.
- Code validity: The OTP code has a limited validity for security reasons. If the code expires, you must return to the login page.
- Registered email: The code will always be sent to the email address registered to your Cincel account. Make sure you have access to that inbox.
